We have been working with Schools for over five years in the UK and since 2009 in Perth-WA, please click Photo Gallery to see pictures of our young students. For kids approaching or enduring the teenage years, yoga is of significant importance. The importance of providing an alternative sporting activity can be crucial at this age. The postures for this age group (12 to 16 years old) are taught in much the same way as an adult class.
Yoga can help this age group during puberty as it helps to increase body awareness and to appreciate their body’s capabilities as well as consider the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Learning correct breathing and relaxation techniques can help to reduce anxiety and improve memory; a big bonus for exam time.

We provide individual 90 min yoga tuition tailored to your own needs and capabilities. You may wish to focus on improving certain postures, addressing particular health concerns or simply enjoying yoga to develop your own personal practice. Each class is designed specifically for you! Each session will be adapted to meet your individual needs. Complimentary wellness consultation is included in your sessions when required.
Classes are private and confidential, and great for those who prefer to practice without being in a group class.
We are flexible to accommodating to your preferred session times. Sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home or office.
Classes with friends or family: Classes can cater for up to 3 or 4 people for the one fee.

The primary intention of Yoga for people with special needs is to help each individual to reach their full potential. People who have a learning disability or special needs often present a variety of symptoms. These include being in a heightened state of stress. They reside in a survival mode as they attempt to cope with life. These high states of stress can be calmed by a balanced regular Yoga practice. Yoga gently resets the nervous system and facilitates a feeling of internal safety and security. Yoga helps balance emotions, improves concentration, coordination, and self-control.
A growing number of kids with ADHD and ADD, anxiety and learning disorders, as well as conditions such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis, are embracing yoga. Their parents are reporting physical, mental and emotional benefits."
